Fibers project in which we were given the challenge to create a piece of jewelry primarily out of recycled object we found at the Chatham County Resource Conservation & Recycling Education Center. Teamed up with three other students, we created this piece out of phone books, newspapers, wire hangers, windows screens, and thread. We created the beads out of the phone books and newspaper, the frame of the piece out of the wire hangers, and we used the window screen to create the window on the back. The piece is part of the "Unnatural Wonders" gallery inside the recycling center.
