The objective of the project was to pick a company and create promotional online material for them. I picked a cosmetic company called Sugarpill which is an online cosmetic company that specializes in highly pigmented and cruelty-free cosmetics. The company was started by a woman who saw a demand for bright, unique makeup and develop her own formula of unique eyeshadow colors.
I decided to create line art animations that had a single pop of color to emphasize how the cosmetics themselves stand out and pop. I went with line art animations because I wanted them to be unique from what other cosmetic companies were doing, and I wanted to showcase how the colors pop. For this piece I included the majority of the products that are sold at Sugarpill. Showing the products one at a time, continuously moving and transforming into one another.
